IDEAL STORES (hereinafter called the seller) will take all reasonable care to deliver to the customer (hereinafter called the buyer) the product ordered though the web site within a reasonable time. The shipment time varies depending on the location of delivery. The seller undertakes to make all reasonable efforts to deliver the requested item at the specified address within 4 working days from the date of ordering for deliveries inside Coimbatore City and Erode City in Tamil Nadu, India, for metros (in India) within 7 working days and 10 working days for other places within India. For shipment outside India, the buyer will get prior information from the seller as this would depend on the location of the recipient. In case of delay in delivery due to reasons beyond the sellers control (for example, flood, road block, door locked at the time of delivery) the buyer shall not hold the seller responsible for such delay. In such cases, the seller or its courier or postal department (hereinafter called the carrier) will make all reasonable efforts to deliver the ordered item on a subsequent working day.
The seller’s responsibility will be to deliver at the specified address and obtain a proof of delivery or acknowledgement. The seller will not be responsible if there is a diversion of the ordered item by the receiver to any person other than the intended recipient. The seller will also not be responsible for any acts of impersonation of the receiver at the specified address.
The seller will not be responsible for non-delivery of items due to insufficient or wrong or incomplete address and phone numbers. The seller will make all reasonable efforts to get the correct or complete address from the buyer through phone, if the seller finds the information insufficient for delivery. In case the attempt to contact the buyer fails on account of any reason, the seller will not undertake to deliver the ordered item and the order will be deemed to be cancelled.
While the seller will take every care to feature the latest product image in the web site, it is likely that due to continuous product improvement by the manufacturer the image shown in the web site and the product received by the recipient may vary marginally, this cannot be construed as a deficiency.
The prices of the listed products are subject to revision by the manufacturer or supplier without notice. The seller reserves the right to revise the price as necessary for all unexecuted orders. In case of order cancellations by the buyer on account of price revisions, the seller will refund the amount paid by the buyer in accordance with the applicable Refund Policy.
The seller only plays the role of a commission agent on behalf of the buyer and not the role of a manufacturer or supplier of the products included in the web site. It is the responsibility of the buyer to read all instructions given by the manufacturer or supplier on proper care and usage of the product. The Seller shall not be held responsible for any loss or damage to the buyer or the recipient on account of use of the products. In such cases, the buyer shall have recourse only to the manufacturer or supplier of the defective or deficient product. The seller shall however assist the buyer in taking recourse on such matters. For any other dispute between the buyer and seller only Coimbatore Courts will have jurisdiction.
The seller will take reasonable care and diligence in proper packing and forwarding the item to the buyer or user. Despite this if the buyer or user find the product to be damaged or broken or pilfered or lost in transit then the buyer should prefer his claim to the carrier or insurance agent. The seller will in no way be held responsible for such damages or breakages or pilferages or loss. However, the seller will assist the buyer or user in processing claims from the insurance agent. The buyer or user will have to contact the seller immediately in order to make timely claim for the damage or breakage or loss etc. The seller will give full details of the claim procedure to the buyer.
Guarantee or warranty applicable on the products available on the web site shall be as per the manufacturer or suppliers guarantee or warranty and will be subject to the terms and conditions specified therein. For some products guarantee or warranty are applicable only in India. On prior request by the buyer the seller will provide necessary information as required. All guarantee or warranty claims to be accompanied with suppliers invoice or cash memo and Guarantee or warranty card with the seller’s hologram intact.
In case of repair or service of product it is the responsibility of the user to handover the product to the authorized service centre and collects the same in time at his or her cost. The seller will assist the user in identifying the authorized service station of the product. In the absence of an authorized service centre at the users location the seller will assist in locating an authorized service centre closest to the user’s location. If for some reason the authorized service station is unable to accept the product for repair or service then the buyer has to send the product to the buyer’s service station closest to the user. The cost of handing over the product to the service center has to be borne by the user.
For deliveries to places having a security zone or places where direct access to the intended recipient is denied, the seller’s responsibility shall end on effecting delivery at the reception or security counter.
The seller also reserves the right to reject or cancel any orders which are deemed to be unserviceable either due to constraints of logistics or for any other reason.
For orders received for delivery to suburban and remote locations, the seller will make reasonable efforts to deliver it to the nearest location of the recipient and reserves the right to request the recipient to pick up the delivery from that point.
The seller reserves the right to request for valid information identifying the buyer and may request the buyer to scan/fax the statement of Credit card copies (only the header section) and photo identity with proof of address, as required.
The seller reserves the right to cancel the order without assigning any reason; if it has reasonable grounds to suspect that the buyer has conducted or attempted a fraudulent transaction.
The buyer may cancel an order without giving any reasons within a maximum period of 48 hours from the time of placing the order and receive a full refund of the amount paid. Any order cancellation subsequent to this would be governed by the sellers Refund Policy and will be charged INR.300/- (or equivalent in other currency) as fee.
Prices quoted on the website are in two parts. The first part is the cost of the product and the second part is shipping cost which is inclusive of handling, packing, forwarding and transit insurance. Some products which are listed in the web site require installation at the user’s premises. This will be at a nominal additional cost. All products in the web site are cost of product only and not installation, plumbing, erection cost and cost of hardware for erection.
The consumer price listed in the website is inclusive of local taxes (VAT) and is exclusive of Customs Duty, Import Tax, and GST etc. In some countries the buyer may be asked to pay Import duty or other Taxes on certain types of products. The rates are not inclusive of import taxes and the buyer will have to pay the same from his/her account.
Apart from online payment options, the seller also offers the option for the buyers to pay through Demand Draft or Pay Order (Option available only for buyer and delivery within India). It is the responsibility of the buyer to ensure that the demand draft or pay order reaches the designated offices of the seller in time. The seller reserves the right to ship the consignment only on receipt of the demand draft or pay order at our designated offices.
Complaints, if any, should be intimated to the seller within a period of 24hours from the date of delivery in order to claim a refund or replacement.
